The French fashion press celebrates with THOMAS SABO in Paris.

The fashion capital of Paris is a veritable Eldorado for shopping. The THOMAS SABO lifestyle label has meanwhile also established its own boutique in the Marais trendy leisure and shopping quarter in Paris, which is where the French fashion press spent a very special evening on Thursday, February 3, 2011.
THOMAS SABO invited the press and other guests to celebrate the new POP NOW collection, with the store decked out in correspondingly poppy decorations. Together with Creative Director Susanne Kölbli and Managing Director for France, Yacine Challal, the THOMAS SABO team welcomed around 80 guests, including journalists from the country’s most important fashion magazines.

Over POP champagne and delicious finger food, French bands “Superbus” and “Les Airnadettes” attended to take a closer look at the new THOMAS SABO jewellery. Singer Gilles Luka is a self-confessed THOMAS SABO fan and he triggered an avalanche of autograph requests from guests in return.

A special highlight of the evening was the exhibition of the THOMAS SABO Pop Bags. This charity project comprises 11 exclusive one-off bags (from leather goods manufacturer, Seeger), which have been uniquely sprayed by London-based graffiti artist trio “Year Zero” with stunningly beautiful THOMAS SABO motifs. In the near future, we will be starting the bag auction on the THOMAS SABO Website.
THOMAS SABO will be giving 100 percent of the proceeds of the auction to children’s charity projects supported by the RTL Donation Marathon.

Following this successful evening, the THOMAS SABO boutique in rue Vieille du Temple 33 in Paris’s 4th arrondisement will undoubtedly attract countless further fans.
