The music world sings his praises as a brilliant, exceptional artist: the German star violinist David Garrett has been ranked as one of the gods of the world of music for a long time.
Already at the tender age of four, David, who hails from Aachen, was given his first violin and developed his love of music from then onwards. At ten years of age he stood on the stage for the first time with the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra and captivated a large audience with his expressive violin playing. After studying in New York, David toured with his crossover album through Europe and made a name for himself as the fastest violin player in the world. By mixing classical with pop, rock and rhythm-and-blues elements, this exceptionally talented musician had his finger on the pulse of the time.
