Backround: Inmitten einer Gemeinde mit großen gesellschaftlichen Problemen kümmern sich die Mönche um die Bedürfnisse und Sorgen der dortigen Familien.
Aim of the Foundation: The aim of the foundation is to enable comprehensive education for socially-disadvantaged children and youngsters and to help them lead dignified lives with the help of Christian values.
Aims achieved:
    • Communal dining rooms for 500 children;
    • A children’s home for 100 children between the ages of 1 and 4;
    • An air-conditioned room for gatherings, events and leisure activities;
    • A school programme for 450 local children;
    • Rooms for music, dance and theatre.
      The THOMAS SABO Foundation supports the Order of Monk’s charity projects with cash donations and donations in kind as an important contribution towards improving the quality of life for people in dire straits.
