Exclusive charity bracelet from THOMAS SABO lays the foundation for the RTL children’s centre in Nuremberg
THOMAS SABO has already been supporting the RTL donation marathon for several years.
For this year, however, the company founder Thomas Sabo and his wife, Luz-Enith, succeeded in bringing a project within the charity campaign to the local region of Nuremberg: the RTL children’s centre in Nuremberg.
Thanks to diverse previous campaigns, in the past few months it has been possible to collect many donations in co-operation with the THOMAS SABO Ice Tigers and the voluntary work of THOMAS SABO employees. The highlight of the fund-raising drives was the sale of the exclusively designed charity bracelet during the live broadcast of the RTL donation marathon on 18 and 19 November. During the programme, Thomas Sabo and his wife Luz-Enith personally presented the bracelet, a limited edition of 4,000, and the “RTL children’s centre Nuremberg” project.
In just under 2 hours, the charity bracelets had already been snapped up on the specially set up order hotline. Individual examples were still available to buy for a few days in THOMAS SABO shops.
Thanks to the sale of the charity bracelet, diverse campaigns in co-operation with the THOMAS SABO Ice Tigers, support by external partners of the Ice Tigers and the generous additional contribution of Thomas Sabo, a total of Euro 500,000 was raised. The foundation stone for the children’s centre, scheduled to open next autumn, has thus been laid.
